Shew, such a long time since I have been here. Lots of water under the bridge...  Cheesy
How are you all?

I had a refresher on your wonderful poem.

I am now an visual artist... a late career change!
I also write a lot explaining my paintings.

Funny. . .I think I just heard this read. . .aloud. . .somewhere.  : )

I haven't been to the terminal yet. . .heading there now. . .but for those of you who do not know. . .Norm made a special appearance at The Art of Words poetry venue in Plymouth, MA that I host. . .

and read at open mic.  Was glad to have him there!

Anam Cara as he knows. . .is one of my very favourite concepts.

Dear Norm,
My learning for the day, Anam Cara.
A magnificant concept as is the poetry containing it.
Cheers,    Ron   jgdittier

Hi Norm

I noticed, and enjoyed, but, the poem is written well and it parts the importance of the journey!

With appreciation!

Tink:

"Life is a journey, not a destination."  - Ralph Waldo Emerson

This little boat trip was an important part of my journy.

Thanks for noticing ...

Hello Norm~

I was fascinated by this...not sure I understand all of it but, there is such a warmth and a tenderness in the words. The words take us on a short trip to perform a ritual -  'over a long period of time...'

Thank you for sharing it!

nas,

glad you enjoyed the re-read--- - I've been re-writing bits and pieces of it and maybe about a year from now I'll have it where I am 100% with it.  ~smile~

Really like this Norm but I remember reading it or at least part of it before.  Still, very much enjoyed re-reading and feeling again the spiritual closeness, no words needed of the time the two of spent aboard that boat.
