the ocean weeps for me
as my body drifts out to sea
and the sky screams out my name
the birds they bow their heads in shame
and the trees who stand at attention
all remember my questions

the moment came unexpected
all of a sudden I had lost my head
always said it would end this way
no one had begged me to stay
so I trusted the wind to catch me
but it let me fall free
and as I neared the ocean's waves
they reached out to save

I dance along behind its mask
