Hi Ren,

Yes, it depends on where you focus as to the effect you get. Thanks for your input.

When I step back and look for each hand individually. . .I like what I see. . .but when I look at all of the hands joined in the center. . .it is a little odd. . .howeverm very interesting. . .and unusual!

It was fine as soon as I stopped looking at the picture.  I think my brain may be quite sensitive to visuals or patterns.

Nas,

Hope it didnt disturb too much. It cant be a little confusing to look at but was just for experimental fun.

Hi Diane

I have to admit, I couldn't look at this for long because I found it rather visually disturbing but it is cleverly done.

Prosaic,

Part of the trickery was taking the shot with no hands. I secured the camera strap around my head, placing the viewfinder over my eye, focused then set the timer to take the picture. I think a facial would be interesting, but a circle of faces might be fun - next time I have a few extra faces will have to give it a go. Thanks for the idea!

Hi Diane.

Looks like a Venusian version of cricket!

These multi-reflectional images are fascinating; they demonstrate how the easily comprehensible soon becomes the obscure.

They also go to explain why people are not symetrical - can be quite spooky (Try taking a facial portrait of someone you know and reflecting it).

Fascinating, thanks.
