Sorry to be so very late in responding to your kind comment!

I'm not sure how I do what I do... It's merely a kind of reflection on what it going on at that particular time in my little world.  Does that make sense?

deLighting in your response, Daniel  Cool

Dear Steve:

How do I read thee? Let me count the ways...
no, I lost count... no, I can never count
on knowing where your brain today will blaze
a trail... and then abandon it... a fount

of everything and nothing, in a word
or something full of passion or ennui...
a spectrum packed with wisdom or absurd.
Should I reflect? dismiss? or should I flee?

I stop and go and start up yet again
to find myself aflutter or bemused,
or am I just frustrated with my pen
that scribbles out mere drivel? I'm confused.

I think I'm dead, awaiting my last rites...
or whipping in the wind up there with kites.
