Daniel is on hiatus for awhile and asked if I would throw something out here. Here's hoping someone catches it. I found this to be easy and fun to do.

Rhupunt: This is Welsh in origin, one of a dozen forms of Awdl or odes. It consists of a pair of stanzas of 3,4 or 5 lines, each line with four syllables with an a,a,a,B rhyme. The next stanza would have a c,c,c,B rhyme. The rhyme could change for the next pair of stanzas.


To write this thing
the words you fling
must make it sing,
must follow rote.

Four beats per line
by your design
will make it fine,
no sour note.

It is  not uncommon to join the lines together and end up with the two stanzas making a line each, making a Rhupunt Long :

Or you may take the lines you make remove the breaks and make them one.
By doing so you can bestow a smoother flow when you are done.

We all have cause to take a pause, relax our jaws, at end of line.
With four as one what you have done is have some fun, like me with mine.
