You have a beautiful child and have captured a beautiful moment
Deffinetly a very poetic snap, I like how the black and white adds to the somber yet proud feeling of the moment .

Patrice,
The pic was in color originally but I used iphoto to change it to B&W. I agree, the color was distracting.
Being the mom, of course I find her lovely and her music engaging! She is actually the proud owner of my Dad's violin which he played in high school back in the 40's. He handed it down to her a few years ago and then he passed away just this last June so it is all extra special to us now.
Love more!
Nancy

Wonderful picture, great contrasts, color would be distracting and yes, I agree with Nas, she is lovely, and no doubt the music she plays is equally as lovely.

Thanks nas! Yes, it is my youngest daughter preparing for the Christmas concert at her school. When I first saw the picture after downloading it to my computer, I was taken by it's poetic feel. Hence, why it ended up here in Poemtrain land.

Beautiful picture
I love the total absorption in her face as she prepares the violin for the concert and the way he is watching what she is doing. Your daughter? She's lovely.
