Thanks very much.

They were the most beautiful flowers and I'm glad I have a lasting memory of them.

Nas,

Very vivid colors!  Flowers are always a beautiful subject for the camera's eye.

Thanks very much Melody and Patrice.

It's lovely to be able to keep a memory of those flowers since the real ones last for such a short time.

A beautiful bouquet and congratulations!   The photo is excellent, like the angle.

Hi Nas,

Lovely flowers! It is nice to photo them so they can be remembered in full bloom. Congrats.

I'm hoping some will be inspired enough to join the writing group I'm starting in September for 11 - 18 year olds.  We are launching it with a workshop given by a children's author this Friday.

lolol. . .and so your jet-lagged, time-change insomnia had its merits -- allowing you to read the award winning children's book!

Sounds fabulous -- I'm sure all of the students had a wonderful time and came away with far more than a simple lunch. . .having been so well nourished by your event.

Thanks Ren

It was a lot of hard work but well worth it.  There were about 250 students from 16 local secondary schools present.  We gave them lunch, a quiz, invited authors for a question and answer session.

I organised a short story and poetry competition and of course there was the voting for the Children's and Teenage book Award.

Funnily enough the book I read while not sleeping in New Jersey won the children's award.

I'm very lucky with my boss.  She is lovely.

Firstly, congrats on your Book Award event. . .I've no doubt you put all of yourself into its conception and its carry-through. . .I'm certain the lovely flowers were more than well-deserved. . .

and how nice for you to have a boss that realizes your worth -- isn't it lovely when we have that!

Beautiful photo. . .striking against the white background.  Enjoy them now. . .and later as you look back. . .
