Thanks very much P

The colours were amazing.  No, we don't have many wild lizards - just lots of rats, squirrels , pigeons and foxes.

Hi Nas,

Excellent photograph - well-captured. Fascinating colours.

Perhaps we should let-on that, in the UK, we have almost no wild lizards. There are newts and a few sand lizards in a few places but that is it. Nothing of the intensity of this chap's colours.

Well done.

Thanks Ren

I had never seen one up close and roaming free before.  I was so lucky to capture it on camera.

What a lovely lizard!  When I lived in Florida the neighbor boy had an iguana for a pet. . .not caged. . .the iguana simply had run of the house for the most part like a cat or dog. . .I do think he caged him at night. . .

and I miss the geckos. . .the tiny little lizards that inhabit yard and home. . .and speaking of cats. . .

geckos need heavy protection from them!

Beautiful pic, Nas. . .lovely colors on this lizard.

This photo was taken when we were on holiday in Tenerife.  We spent a day in the botanical gardens. I noticed the lizard among the trees and I couldn't resist taking a picture.

Nas,

Is this a standard wild lizard where you live? Ours are much smaller, but we see them everywhere. Not sure I would want to run into one of these, nice colors though.
