Rene,

"lolol. . .and here I thought your train ride was longer than this. . .and it would take a while before you found my smart remark.  rotflolol"
couldn't miss it --- you get a "time out" for this!

"Nawww. . .we loved our guide! *smile*"
but you get a reprieve because of this one ~smile~

"Even if it means walking all the way through Central Park, just to find out we belonged back on the other side.  lolol "

Next time back, get a better "guide" ~smile~....

I am thinking Retreat #2 will be a re-visit to NYC again -- just too much to tke in one more time.

Hi Ren,

"...and gathers a spectre of me/ into another place."
I find myself there from time-to-time, as well. Still looking at the photos and waiting for next years trip(s) with hopefully at least one (return) visit to the east coast.

I hope so. . .it wouldn't be the same without you and Karen!

I'll take the White Rabbit role---always something I need to get to, but hopefully in an attractive way. lol.

Ok, you can be the White Rabbit. . .and, during any retreats, we will wait until you arrive. . .or tell us we're late. . .and we'll try to get wherever we are going in an attractive way as well.  Even if it means walking all the way through Central Park, just to find out we belonged back on the other side.  lolol

Rene,

But ...

"still not out of sync.  *smile* "

Your meat/dairy psyche was a little outa sync, wasn't it? ~smile~ ... I am so glad you accidentally did that flip-flop on the silverware drawers -- it became a special moment that day for me when I returned.  Precious.

HEY GANG ----

I have finally caught Rene in a blatant LIE!!!

She wrote: "nothing will be out of sync"

Well, let me tell you, I had PROOF POSITIVE that she took EVERYTHING out of my SINK when the rest of us went into NY (she had to leave early on Weds. to get back to her boys that night). While we were on the train, she went and cleaned everything up from breakfast -- including everything in the sink -- putting everything away so nicely.

So don't give me this  "nothing will be out of sync" stuff!

ROFWL

Hey Per!  Nice to see you. . .haven't seen or read you lately. . .hope all is well. . .I'm sure life "on the outside" of PT. . .needs attention too huh?  lolol

Some of us had met previously. . .others not until the retreat. . .but, no matter, for we were family from the get-go. . .the connections from PT. . .were already in place. . .

hang around us long enough. . .and we're "catching" you know.  lolol

Thanks for your appreciation of the painting!

Thanks Bob!  It's so nice to see you here!  Welcome back and home. . .

I am reminded of how effortless you make poetry seem. I love the way your words flow, allowing the reader to travel with you to your conclusion.

Thanks for providing such a fine poetic example. I'm looking forward to reading and learning again.

I appreciate your appreciation. . .and look forward to reading your words again as well. . .and interacting within our poetic family!
