so, I say, I will give you a pardon---
as for Eve and my pants,
well, that's private---perchance

Then, with every good cheer I can muster,
I will pull up my pants in a fluster,
'cos, behoove it to say,
I was talkin' ta-day
'bout the length of my hems as a duster.

And I 'magine that's what they'll be doin'

though the dance you would prob'ly just ruin!

Dancin' Romancin'

Well I never was one for the dance,
and romance---well I Ain't no Sir Lance...
but I'll give it a try
'cos I ain't all that shy
... just a sec, whilst I pull up my pants.

Meterin’ words  ain’t much more 
than dahDUMmin’ your feet on the floor.
Folks what can dance 
should take a chance
to broaden their view and explore. 

The riots and marches and strife 
occasionally perk up our life.
