a bit of rearranging and alternate word choice

terrifying the form seen within the decaying detritus
of a basement floor. A maw opened warning, strategically placed

in the mélange of skeletal remains, the pounding pulse
of horror, resounding louder and deeper, than the moan beneath

what presence—threatens where even shadows are overtaken?
what vestige of import shaken, driven as if from a world lost?

spewed as useless spawn to germinate, spidery shoots
reseed and roam as the ooze of regurgitate bilious, and malodorous as carrion.

to  fester as any random, ugly fear, concentrated and dwelled upon,
teetering and groundless as ones own dive into madness

the ghoulish seething hunger that gnaws into the psyche
of an otherwise undisturbed reality

I also see a poem in your preamble...

Hi Tzarsun

I understood the insanity feel and liked some of the strong images

the dcayed detritus, skeletal remains, cavernous estuaries.  I also liked the basements floor of meaning, though I wonder if you could say more simply "in a basement of meaning"

also "we are the seething of a dense, unimaginable glow" which feels like an oxymoron of sorts.

Fascinating where the challenge took you.
