Thank you so much Norm, I don't know why I love this so much but I do. And I really appreciate you putting it on here again.
Blessings,
Donna

Ethereal Meditation
(Pelleas & Melisande, Second Movement by Faure)

http://www.webpollack.com/creatively/poetry/musicallyinspired.html#meditation

The soft, pure dust of butterfly wings
is sprinkled like due on your skin;
A friend's caress so soft on your sleeve,
I know you should let it all in.

Just close your eyes and wait for the wind
to whisper a song so you'll hear;
That still small voice that floats on a breeze
and yearns to reside in your ear.

Windows and doors are open to you now,
Quiet and blissful reminders you hold;
Solitude's peaceful embrace of your conscience,
Bringing all souls into one perfect mold.

Crying …. tears of a memory.
Sighing…. lost in dreams.
Saying …. now you're so peaceful.
Praying … it will last.

These silver notes with gold-threaded harps,
try lifting you heavenward bound;
You're warmly housed within my own song,
your body melts into the sound.

Whoever hears and sings me again,
will help all my poems to survive;
On lips, in heart residing in hope,
that others will keep me alive.

Crying …. tears of a memory.
Sighing…. lost in dreams.
Saying …. now you're so peaceful.
Praying … it will last.

And now my life raft waits for my words,
I'll sing them and drift off to sea;
My poem of dreams, I'll share all the words,
now all my world is in thee.
