The recipe I go by is:
10 lines
seventh syllable is a strong beat and gets the rhyme
rhyme scheme is abbaacddcc

Mention mighty mountain peaks...
Man will climb each trail arising...
Wonder why? Is it surprising?
Is adventure what man seeks?
What about that group called "meeks"?
Man, when making news, intensive
finds the joy it brings compensitive.
Human beings ever dare,
mountain climbing, cause it's there!
Hope these thoughts not be insensitive.
