Clogyrnach: (clog-ir-nach):

Clogyrnach is an old Welsh poetic form of 32 syllables. It's usually has a six line stanza with this rhyme scheme:   A-A-B-B-B-A.   The first two lines are 8 syllables, the third and fourth are 5 syllables, and the last two lines are 3 syllables:

a a b b b a
8 8 5 5 3 3

Somtimes you might see the last two 3-syllable lines written as one 6-syllable line.

x x x x x x x a
x x x x x x x a
x x x x b
x x x x b
x x b
x x a

Here is mine:

Clogyrnach - Loving You

Loved you then, like selfish treasure.
Wanted you for all that pleasure,
I learned from before
I must do much more ...
Evermore
Can't measure.

Love you more than I could mention.
Unabashed and free of tension,
Waters uncharted,
In touch not parted,
I've started
retention.

I’ll love you for NOW, not some goal,
We’ll share a life, a single soul.
This time, no goodbye;
This rhyme will not die,
I know why
We're whole.
