I went through my archives and found this group of tets from 2002.  I think they were originally posted in Poem Kingdom.  Due to the time of the year I thought it would be good to post them here.

Christmas Thoughts

Some
people
seem to think
we should be kind
to each other at this time of the year.
"No," we are told ...  do it every day,
not once a year;
let us care
all year
through.

So,
God sent
His only
begotten Son
to teach us all how to love each other,
in spite of our faults and grievous errors.
Forgive misdeeds
each new day.
Give true
love.

That
special
Son's birth day
we call "Christmas."
As good people around the world hustle
in preparation for the festive day,
we pause/reflect
on wonders
of His
birth.

I
wonder
if I am
reflecting Light
of Him who came so long ago to teach
how we can be redeemed of all our sins.
I ponder if
I reflect
His true
Light.

We
want to
always be
open to Him,
to learn to love, to grow, and then one day,
return to Our Father who loves us all,
in spite of faults;
my prayer
for us
all.

wish a
wonderful
Merri Christmas
to all my PT friends and newbies
I anticipate becoming friends with.
To you and yours,
A Happy
New Year
too!

I don't know what happened to the third pair of tets ... I simply couldn't get them to "center"  Embarrassed

Dolly     Merry, Merry Holidays to all!!   Smiley

Hmmm...   I like this subject and your treatment.  Let me turn this one about some too to see what might happen:

Christmas

Lo
a
Child
stable-born
yet embracing
the indignity of His manger-birth
to reveal the dignity of His heart
that would shed blood
to buy us
freedom

Let me play with it a bit, then, Mary Ann... just to see what might come of some tweaking...

NOT to EDIT, but to offer the perspective of a fellow artist turning the pedistal to see another side of your piece:

Here's another one. I need your input. I coined the word "arcingly" but had also considered "arcfully".  Neither word is in the dictionary, although "arcing" does occur.  Would appreciate which you think works better.  Thanks.

And here's another double one.  Thanks for your input.

Carpe Diem

Breeze
gently
whispering
through rustling leaves,
Awaken to the life of newborn Spring.
Regale yourself in garments of the King
It’s time to live;
time to give
freely
seize.

At last I've found the tetractys section after taking the wrong train to other destinations on this site. Smiley  Thank you so very much for your insightful comments, Daniel. I deeply appreciate them.

I love this one also, Mary Ann!

Since I personally like these without the capitalization and most punctuation, let me offer a slightly different look to your words... as I think that eye-appeal is also important:

Forever reaching out to sinners lost.

Giving
Grace.

forever reaching out to lost sinners
without flinching at the cost -- His own blood
always wooing

P.S.  ... and Dolly, we'll be looking forward to yours now too!

I do recall this one, MaryAnn!  Thank you for sharing it again.  Please let me play with it to try to remove the archaic-sounding inversions and the missing indefinite article (since plain speech is best ?):

Wow Mary Ann!  These are very good!  I like them a great deal.   I think I'll bring some more from my old days (of yore, of course) or perhaps I'll try a few new ones.  I know I used to love reading and writing these little poems.  However, I don't liike the ones I wrote nearly as well as I like yours .... Undecided

Ah well, I'll pick meself up, dust meself off, and try all over again!  Smiley

Enjoyed reading your tets,

Dolly    Smiley
